It’s one of the most iconic film festivals in the world. And this year’s event will include some scenes filmed in Newark.
NEWARK, NJ — Some moviemaking magic recently took place in Newark, and it will be appearing in one of the most iconic film festivals in the world: the Sundance Film Festival.
In all, seven productions that were shot in New Jersey will be screening at the 2024 version of the festival: “I Saw the TV Glow,” “Your Monster,” “Rob Peace,” “Ponyboi,” “Presence,” “Exhibiting Forgiveness” and “A Different Man.”
Two of these films captured footage in Newark: “Your Monster” and “Rob Peace.”
